Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am glad that I have this opportunity to introduce myself and my practice to the patients who already know me, and to those who are looking for a personal physician. I hope this will give you a chance to start to get to know me, so that when we meet, you might feel more comfortable in sharing your concerns.
I was born in Pakistan and moved to the United States after finishing medical school there. I have been in Southern California ever since. I feel lucky to have chosen a profession that gives me a chance to help people with what they might not be able to discuss with any one else. I feel truly accomplished when my patients trust my judgment, and when my help brings a smile to their faces.
About my practice
I firmly believe that "prevention is better than cure," and I encourage healthy living habits in all of my patients, regardless of their age group. I expect you to participate actively in your health care, as keeping you healthy should be a mutual effort, and we will achieve a better outcome when we work together.
How I thrive
It's important to maintain balance between work and personal life in order to be efficient and more productive . I always try to spend quality time with my family (my husband and two kids). I enjoy cooking for them, going to movies together, and shopping with my daughter. We spend our vacation time by making trips and visiting family and friends in Pakistan. Despite my busy life, I make every effort to have 30-40 minutes on the treadmill almost every day.
