Where I practice
Hi, my name is Hasan. I'm glad to have the opportunity to share some information about myself. I believe it's very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me!
I am originally from the San Joaquin Valley! My passion for medicine was sparked by my grandmother, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. I completed my undergraduate studies at UC Irvine, where I majored in Neurobiology and worked as a full-time researcher to help find a cure for Alzheimer's disease. I took my experiences from UC Irvine and went to UC Davis, where I earned my medical degree. This was a great time in my life, full of unique experiences and patients. Here, I fell in love with surgery! My passion for surgery took me to University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I trained as a General Surgeon.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way. It provides opportunities for using medical skills and knowledge as well as listening and responding to what members need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes; it is a privilege to help members understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
My wife and 2 young boys have shared my journey back to California, and we love to explore nature through hiking, biking, and sports. We pride ourselves in giving back to our communities through our time, knowledge, and experiences. We hope to make our communities stronger with our involvement. I volunteer for the Aga Khan Health Initiatives and continue to stay involved in both local and international volunteer programs. I find the most happiness in giving back to my communities and spending time with loved ones. These moments with family and friends make me complete!
