About me

Thank you for visiting my Web page and for giving me this chance to share a little bit about myself. I work with wonderful colleagues and members at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to working with you, too.

Biography

I was born and raised in northern India, in the state of Punjab. I got my medical degree in India. I had one year of training in ophthalmology before immigrating to the United States in 1979. I was trained in family medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. I moved to California in 1983 and worked with the Tulare County Department of Health from 1983 to 1989. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1989 and have enjoyed the practice of family medicine ever since. I am proud to say that I’m part of an extended family of doctors who also work at Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

As your partner in health, I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to provide care for you when you are sick. I have a passion for sports medicine and I enjoy helping my patients in this field as well.

How I thrive

I believe in simple living, eating a vegetarian diet, and exercising on a regular basis.
