Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself.
I was born and raised in the Coachella Valley in Southern California, many years before the start of the world famous music festivals. I attended UC Berkeley for my undergraduate education, and then Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia for medical school. I completed my residency, fellowship, and advanced fellowship at UC San Diego. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2015. I am happily married and have two wonderful children. I truly enjoy working with people and patients and am fortunate to be part of this wonderful organization.
About my practice
My specialty is Cardiac Electrophysiology, which is the study and treatment of irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias). I spend my time between clinic and performing various procedures, which include pacemaker and ICD (defibrillator) implantations, cardiac ablations, and other advanced procedure to treat arrhythmias. The field of electrophysiology is always changing, with rapid improvements and advancements in technology. I enjoy my work, which is always intellectually stimulating and challenging. I also spend time performing research.
How I thrive
I thrive my spending time with my wife and children. I enjoy gardening, swimming, the beach and other outdoor activities. My favorite recreational sport is water polo.
