Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I look forward to working with you to address your health concerns.
I grew up in sunny Southern California. After completing my residency at Loma Linda Medical Center, I worked for two years at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) before joining Kaiser Permanente. Being a pediatrician is the perfect excuse to remain "a kid at heart." I get to play with cute kids and toys all day long. If you visit my office, you'll see lots of Winnie the Pooh, Star Wars, and Legos.
About my practice
Pediatrics is about preventive health. Investing in our children's health today can help make sure they have a healthy and happy tomorrow. I believe vaccines save lives and can prevent serious life-threatening diseases. Healthful living habits and preventive care are the best ways to maintain health. Hand washing helps prevent the spread of infections. Brushing your teeth at least twice a day will help you avoid cavities.
How I thrive
A good work-life balance is essential in our busy lives today. I remind myself every day to find something enjoyable about that day whether cooking with my wife, taking a stroll around the park, walking on the grass, smelling the flowers, or indulging in a tasty dessert. No matter how small, take some time for yourself each day. Remember, smiling is the first step to feeling better. When I'm not in the office, I enjoy traveling to other countries, trying new cuisines, drawing, scuba diving, and volunteering my time with the Boy Scouts and international medical trips. So far, my travels have taken me to Europe, Japan, Taiwan, China, Mexico, and Central America. There are so many things to enjoy and see in the world, but never forget the importance of quality family time and your health.
