Where I practice
Warmest greetings! I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my work as a physician with Kaiser Permanente.
Born in Dallas, Texas, I have lived in Southern California since I was 4 years old, and I’m the proud father of a son who brings me endless joy. I became a physician because I love science and am passionate about teaching and helping others.
About my practice
One of the reasons I practice family medicine is because I love problem solving. I embrace the challenge of helping members of all ages, genders, and backgrounds navigate a wide variety of medical issues and achieve a high level of wellness. Some of the services I provide include adult medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, care for the elderly, mental health care, chronic pain management, diabetes care, sports medicine, and cancer prevention. I’m passionate about keeping members healthy and treating them when they are sick. Furthermore, I am a strong believer in medicine based on evidence and current research, so I stay up to date on the newest breakthroughs in medical research and technology to optimize the health of members.
How I thrive
I try to live the same healthy lifestyle that I promote in my practice. I believe health is a temple held up by numerous strong pillars, including nutrition, exercise, love, family, and mental health. From cooking healthy meals to running on the treadmill to having fun with my family, I try to keep myself strong so that I may be in top health for members. When I’m not seeing members, you may find me on the tennis court or over a chessboard. I run a free chess organization called the LA Chess Ladder that serves a diverse array of local chess players.
