Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and I look forward to working with you to care for the health of your children.
I am a native Californian and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was a Kaiser Permanente member growing up, and my mother was a nurse at Kaiser Permanente and loved her job. I knew at an early age that I wanted to be a pediatrician. I really enjoy interacting with children and feel like I am a big kid at heart. Medical school brought me to Southern California, and, after finishing my residency, my wife and I decided to stay in the area. We have three kids, which is a blessing and has enhanced my ability to empathize with other parents.
About my practice
Good nutrition, exercise, and drinking lots of water are so very important. I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when your little ones are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for your children when you are actively involved in taking care of their health.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit, and I try to incorporate it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy spending time with my wife and children. I especially like playing outside with my kids, whether it is hide and seek, soccer, basketball, football, riding bikes, skateboards, playing tag, or just going to the park. We are also active in our church. I enjoy an active lifestyle, and I run about two half marathons each year. I also play basketball and like to skateboard.
