About me
I am a proud member and physician of Kaiser Permanente here in San Diego, and it is humbling to introduce my practice and some of the contributions to your care that I can make with the support of the diagnostic radiology and vascular and interventional radiology team.
Biography
I am a curious individual whose curiosity has led me to learn and understand health and disease. I view medicine as a humbling profession where every day a different aspect is brought to light by every human being. As a diagnostic radiologist and vascular and interventional radiologist, I have the privilege to work with other Kaiser Permanente physicians to consult on diagnosis and treatment strategies. I am grateful for being part of your care and well-being as a Kaiser Permanente physician. I was inspired to become a physician during college and studied biomedical science and computer science at UC Riverside’s Thomas Haider Program of Biomedical Science before heading to UCLA for medical school and business school. Subsequent training on the West Coast and East Coast allowed me to gain practical experience from diverse groups of physicians, groups of patients, and clinical settings including level 1 trauma centers in Philadelphia and Los Angeles and county/private settings, as well as Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, where 3 months of training helped me decide to join the organization. I credit my physician teachers for what I do professionally today, and I look forward to sharing that in your care.
About my practice
Diagnosis and minimally invasive procedures with imaging guidance are my core value, for nearly every organ system in the body. I offer consultation in cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, hematologic, urologic, gynecologic, musculoskeletal, endocrine, lymphatic, oncologic, and surgical specialties.
How I thrive
Balancing personal and career development is an ongoing endeavor. I stay well by my commitment to my health and members’ health and well-being. I strive to stay current with the latest on treatments and procedures within vascular and interventional radiology as well as interventional oncology to ensure I provide the care our members deserve. Everything in my profession works to provide members with current care, to promote health within mind and body, and to ensure a high chance for desired outcomes. I look forward to building a trusting relationship with you so that we may reach your goals of care.
