Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page!
I was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up, I loved seeing my pediatrician and wanted to be a doctor just like her! I completed my undergraduate education at UC San Diego, right by the beaches of La Jolla. I then attended medical school at Rush University in the heart of Chicago. For my pediatrics residency, I trained at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I cared for many healthy and sick children. After many years of training and working, my husband and I moved back home to Southern California to join the Kaiser Permanente family.
About my practice
As a pediatrician, I care greatly about preventive care and promoting childhood literacy. I consider it a true privilege to care for children from infancy to adulthood and love seeing my patients grow over the years! Getting to know my families and developing relationships with them over time is a wonderful blessing.
How I thrive
Maintaining a good work-life balance is important to me, and during my time off from work I enjoy reading, watching movies, running, and traveling. I have run several 5Ks and love running outdoors a few times a week. My husband and I have traveled to different places around the world and enjoy immersing ourselves in new cultures. My favorite books include Jane Eyre, the Outlander series, and the Harry Potter series. My favorite movies are The Apartment, While You Were Sleeping, and Sleepless in Seattle.
