Where I practice
I am a US-educated, licensed, and board-certified internal medicine doctor. I have been practicing medicine for more than 15 years in Southern California. I am honored to be your primary care physician, your healthcare partner, and your advocate for good health. I look forward to meeting you.
I received my BS in biology at UCLA and my MD at USC’s Keck School of Medicine. My internal medicine internship was at LA County+USC Medical Center. I speak English, Vietnamese, and Cantonese and understand basic Mandarin and medical Spanish.
About my practice
Keeping members healthy requires teamwork. The team consists of me, the member, and the Kaiser Permanente healthcare team. Medical knowledge, keeping to treatment plans, mutual trust and respect, understanding, and clear communication make up the foundation of this teamwork. I am honored to be your primary care physician. I am grateful for the opportunity to be your advocate and facilitator of good health. We work together to keep you healthy and happy!
How I thrive
Through passion, dedication, and compassion for family, friends, members, community, and work, I strive to live by the following: 1) To earn the respect of intelligent people; 2) To win the affection of children; 3) To appreciate the beauty in nature that surrounds us; 4) To give the gift of yourself to others without the slightest thought of return; 5) To have accomplished a meaningful task, whether it is healing a sick person or writing a book; 6) To have celebrated and laughed with great joy and enthusiasm and sung with exaltation; 7) To rejoice in the moments spent together and to cherish the time shared before; 8) To understand and be understood; 9) To love and be loved; and 10) To know that even one life has breathed better because you have lived. This is the meaning of success.
