Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am very happy to introduce myself and tell you a little about my practice.
After growing up in Michigan and New Jersey, I moved to Los Angeles in 1994 to attend medical school at USC. I completed my training in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at LAC+USC Medical Center and was a faculty member at USC for 13 years before joining the Kaiser Permanente family. I am board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and I continue to be a volunteer faculty member at USC.
About my practice
As a specialist in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, I treat women with a range of health issues related to the pelvic floor, such as urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, which can sometimes be difficult for a woman to discuss. Good open communication between the physician and the member is critical to achieving the member’s goals for her health. I pride myself on being a good listener who takes the time to understand a member’s perspective so that I can best guide her to the appropriate treatment options.
How I thrive
Working at Kaiser Permanente has allowed me to have a better work-life balance. I enjoy spending time outdoors, either at the beach or hiking in the mountains. I also love to cook and pride myself on being an excellent chef. I take the opportunity to travel and get away to new places as often as possible, whether it is a weekend trip or a longer international trip.
