Hi, my name is Dr. Arash Kermanshahi. I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It’s very important that you feel comfortable with your physicians, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I wanted to be a physician since I was 9 years old. When I was a child, I moved with my family from Iran to Los Angeles. I attended UCLA for my undergraduate studies. I completed medical school and my residency in New York and then returned to San Diego to complete my fellowship in total knee and total hip replacement. I treat each patient like a member of my own family. Nothing makes me more happy than seeing my patients walk and enjoy life pain-free.
I believe that by encouraging you to adopt a healthy lifestyle and providing you with preventive care are two of the best ways that I can help you to stay healthy. But I’m also here to support you when you need advanced care. I look forward to our working together as partners in your health.
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of total health, and I try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I also enjoy photography and playing the piano.
