About me
Greetings. I am Dr. Dula, a family practice physician with Kaiser Permanente's Palmdale Medical Offices. I am an osteopathic physician with all of the training and capabilities of a medical doctor, plus added skills in the treatment of the muscular and skeletal system. You'll receive the same high- quality care and medical know-how from me as you would from any other Kaiser Permanente doctor, and my care is always provided with a welcoming smile!
Biography
I received my medical training from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California, and went on to serve my internship and residency at USC's California Hospital Family Health Center in Los Angeles. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2005 because I had been a Kaiser Permanente member, and liked their approach to preventive medicine. I appreciate all the classes and services they provide, which really help members understand what they need to do to stay healthy and manage chronic conditions.
About my practice
Thanks to my lively personality, most members find talking with me is easy. I try to approach issues with a positive attitude, and do my best to make getting healthy fun and interesting. Together, we can come up with an approach that works for you. All it takes is a little effort and determination. For those who seem stuck in a rut, I try to determine if there is an underlying issue holding them back from practicing healthy habits. Sometimes depression, anxiety, or family issues can be the problem. Together, we'll peel away the problems and help get you back into a healthy body and state of mind.
How I thrive
Medicine is a job where you just can't clock out at five o'clock. You are a doctor 24 hours a day. So when I am able to spend time with my family, I enjoy every minute of it. I'm married to a firefighter and we have 2 sons who are active in sports and music. Life in the Dula household is often hectic and always fun. We love music, dancing, and remarkable food. We try to catch a live concert at least once a month. We are big fans of all genres but love soul, jazz, and the blues most of all.
