Hello, I am an orthopedic surgeon at the Kaiser Permanente San Marcos Medical Offices. I specialize in hip and knee replacements.
I am originally from Pasadena and moved to Orange County for residency. I attended college at USC and medical school at UCLA. I completed orthopedic residency at UC Irvine and a fellowship in hip and knee replacement at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. I now live in San Diego with my husband, two children, and Great Dane. We love San Diego; it is the best place to live on earth.
I have a wonderful job because I can make people feel better. Hip and knee replacements are very successful surgeries with excellent outcomes. My philosophy is fairly conservative. I use implants that have a proven track record of success. My goal is to allow people to be able to do the activities that make their lives worth living, whether that is walking, golf, surfing, or even skiing.
I am lucky to have a very supportive family, and spending time with them is very important to me. I enjoy cooking as well. Yoga is a way to stay centered and get a good workout at the same time. Overall, I always try to see the positive in life and have fun.
