Consultations and services are competitively priced and offered on a fee-for-service basis, separate from your Kaiser Permanente health plan benefits.*

Skin care products and services
Our estheticians, laser nurses, and physicians use product lines only available in physicians’ offices. We customize treatments to help you have fresh, healthy skin. Choose from skin peels, microdermabrasion, facials, and more.

Laser and nonsurgical services
If you’d like to quickly and safely remove unwanted hair, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, or treat discoloration, then you might consider outpatient laser and other nonsurgical services. These procedures offer subtle enhancements and quicker recovery times. We offer:

• Laser hair removal and facial resurfacing
  
• Botox and fillers (such as Juvéderm and Restylane)
• Treatment of leg and face veins
• Laser skin resurfacing and removal of brown spots and tattoos
  
  

Cosmetic surgery services
Considering more permanent enhancements? Our cosmetic surgery program features a multispecialty team of physicians and health care professionals who are selected based on their education, training, and experience. We offer a wide range of cosmetic surgery services, including:

• Body contouring
• Cosmetic eyelid, nasal, cheek, chin, and lip surgery
• Cosmetic ear surgery and earlobe repair
• Facelift and forehead and brow lift
• Facial implants
• Liposuction and tummy tuck
• Snoring reduction
  

Steps to a new you
We want you to be fully informed about cosmetic surgery, so you can decide whether it’s right for you.

• Attend one of our free educational seminars to learn about specific cosmetic procedures, what they can do for you, and the recovery process.
• Schedule a consultation. Your practitioner will work with you to select the treatment that’s right for your individual needs and preferences. The consultation includes an exam, details about the procedures — including benefits and risks of treatment — and a review of post-surgery self-care.

We offer cosmetic services at these convenient locations. Not all services are available at all locations.

  

Cosmetic services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. If your provider determines that a surgery is not medically indicated,* the services are not provided or covered by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc., and you are financially responsible to pay for them. Clinical services are provided by providers or contractors of the Southern California Permanente Medical Group. Results of services vary among patients and cannot be guaranteed. Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc., and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals may receive compensation for providing facilities and/or other support in connection with these services. *Medically indicated treatment means treatment that is recommended in the professional judgment of physician after consideration of relevant medical standards.

Our ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians work together to take care of all your eye care needs, including:

Great eyeglasses at great prices
If you need eyeglasses — or a great pair of sunglasses — you'll find a broad selection quality frames and lenses at competitive prices. Our fashion eyewear lines include Dior, Gucci, Calvin Klein, and Armani.

We guarantee our frames and lenses against defects in workmanship or breakage for one year after you get them — no questions asked. And we do minor repairs and adjustments, free of charge.

Prefer contact lenses? Our optometrists help you choose the right lenses for you and offer personalized follow-up care to make sure your lenses provide sharp vision and comfort.

We offer a wide range of solutions, supplies, and contact lenses for even the most challenging prescriptions.

We also offer contact lens reorders from Vision Essentials by Kaiser Permanente.

Protect your eyes
Choose from a full range of industrial safety eyewear to protect your eyes — on the job or at home.

All our industrial safety glasses comply with current American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards and carry an unconditional one-year warranty. If they are defective or damaged for any reason, we'll replace them free of charge.

Our low-vision services
Low vision is a significant loss of vision, but not total blindness. If you have low vision, our low-vision specialists can evaluate your vision and prescribe one or more magnifying aids to meet your specific needs.

Low-vision examinations may be covered as part of your health plan benefits. Often some or all of the cost of assistive devices is also covered by your benefits.

If you think you have a hearing loss, call the Hearing Center nearest you to schedule an appointment for a hearing screening. A referral from your primary care physician is not needed.

Check your Evidence of Coverage to see if audiology tests and hearing aids are covered or are available on a fee-for-service basis. Our hearing centers offer:

• Professional hearing aid services, products, and accessories
• Digital, programmable, and conventional hearing aids
• Follow-up from dispensing audiologists
• Full manufacturers' warranties
