Volunteer opportunities

Volunteer Services at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park provides enhanced services to staff, members, and guests at the medical center and medical offices at Baldwin Park. Our volunteers support our staff in either clerical or patient care areas. Volunteers are not involved in any hands-on patient care and this opportunity would not be considered an internship. Any job shadowing opportunity would need to go through an approval process and is not guaranteed.

Hospice Volunteers

Heroes wanted: no experience necessary

Hospice care provides medical services, emotional support, and spiritual resources for people who are in the final stages of a terminal illness, such as cancer or heart failure. Hospice also can help family members deal with the practical and emotional challenges of dealing with a dying loved one.

If you are 18 or older, can spare about 2 to 4 hours a week, and have transportation, you could help families during their difficult time. Bilingual skills are especially helpful.
