We offer prenatal care and labor and delivery services in many of our local facilities. No matter where you choose to go, you’ll find a staff committed to your care.

Labor and delivery locations

In Oregon and Southwest Washington, you can choose to have your baby at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside or Westside Medical Centers, Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center or Salem Health Hospital. Wherever you choose to have your baby, you’ll have a private room with a private bathroom and shower.

Prenatal care and locations

Regular prenatal exams are important during any pregnancy. Kaiser Permanente members will see a clinician around 9 times prior to delivery. The schedule of visits will be reviewed at the first prenatal appointment, and adjusted based on individual care needs.

Ultrasounds

At around 20 weeks your clinician will recommend an ultrasound to measure your baby’s growth, examine your baby’s anatomy, screen for abnormalities (and more).

CenteringPregnancyⓇ

CenteringPregnancy is an exciting alternative to the traditional prenatal care experience that’s available for expecting moms at Westside. You’ll join other expectant parents for 2-hour group appointments that give you private time with a healthcare professional as well as group education and support. Best of all, you can bond with others who share a similar due date and form lasting friendships.
