About me
Born and raised in New Hampshire, I always sensed my purpose was to help people, though as a teenager I wasn't quite sure what that was meant to look like. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology at Wheaton College in Massachusetts before moving across the country to California, where I was a special education teacher for 5 years. Realizing my true calling was in mental health (specifically therapy), I moved to Oregon to complete the master's program of counseling psychology at Pacific University. I am a licensed therapist in both Oregon and Washington. My pronouns are she/her/hers.
About my practice
My practice focuses on increasing awareness of the beliefs and values we learned growing up and empowering ourselves to decide what is most important to us to live a value-driven life. Effective communication, boundary setting, and self-compassion are the cornerstones of my practice. My philosophy is that everyone is doing the best they can with what they know, and everyone has the capacity to learn, change, and grow. With the use of evidence-based treatment modalities and my clients' personal spiritual beliefs/practices, I help them become more successful and independent in their daily lives, along with building healthy relationships with themselves and others.

How I thrive
The mind, body, and soul connection is at the forefront of both my clinical and self-care practice. I enjoy spending time in my backyard tending to my garden or on a hike exploring a new part of the Pacific Northwest. Rivers, the ocean, and the woods are medicine to me, so I spend as much time near them as I can. Meditation, yoga, reading, reiki, essential oils, and sound bath music are all a part of how I stay energized, grounded, and balanced.

Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans’ contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of members’ KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Referrals to affiliated community physicians/providers in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community physicians/providers are not part of the NWPMG (Northwest Permanente Medical Group). They are physicians/providers credentialed by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest and/or who have a contract with the NWPMG.
If your NWPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from an NWPMG physician, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community physician/provider. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community physician/provider.
Referrals to affiliated community dentists in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community dentists are not part of PDA (Permanente Dental Associates). They are dentists credentialed by PDA for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest, and they have a contract with PDA.
If your PDA dentist decides that you require covered services not available internally from a PDA dentist, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community dentist. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community dentist.
