I draw from various techniques of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness, solutions focused therapy, narrative therapy, and structural family therapy.

How I thrive
I have had a love for the outdoors since childhood. Working as a wilderness therapy guide for many years strengthened my bond with nature, not only as a place to enjoy but also as a powerful place to heal. I love spending time with friends and family while hiking, skiing, paddling, biking, trail running, or swimming. I also enjoy cooking, baking, music, and soccer. Our family tries to get out for a weekly Sunday hike to be present and take in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
