About me
I was born in Barcelona, Spain, and moved to New York when I was 9 years old. I spent most of my early life in New York and New Jersey as I completed my undergraduate education, medical school, and residency training there. Having grown up in a bilingual household, I am fluent in Spanish, and I enjoy using my language skills in my practice. In my free time I love dancing salsa, cooking (including salsa), and home decor. My husband and I enjoy exploring Portland and living life to the fullest here in the Pacific Northwest!
About my practice
As a pediatrician I spend 80% of my time in the pediatric office and the rest on the pediatric hospital floor. I am passionate about providing children with the highest quality care but most importantly, ensuring that their parents and families have the information necessary to take an active role in their child's health and wellness. I have a particular interest in adolescent medicine, including preventive reproductive health, and enjoy working closely with other pediatricians as well as pediatric specialists to best serve our patients.
How I thrive
My philosophy in life is that things are better when shared. Outside of work, I feel most alive when I am cooking large meals for my friends and family or taking a dance class. Exploring restaurants and ice cream shops in Portland with my husband has become a regular activity since moving here. We also take time for trips to California, New York, and North Carolina to visit family.

Referrals to affiliated community physicians/providers in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community physicians/providers are not part of the NWPMG (Northwest Permanente Medical Group). They are physicians/providers credentialed by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest and/or who have a contract with the NWPMG.
If your NWPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from an NWPMG physician, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community physician/provider. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community physician/provider.
Referrals to affiliated community dentists in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community dentists are not part of PDA (Permanente Dental Associates). They are dentists credentialed by PDA for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest, and they have a contract with PDA.
If your PDA dentist decides that you require covered services not available internally from a PDA dentist, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community dentist. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community dentist.
