About me
A Pacific Northwest native, I grew up in the Portland Metro area. I left to study chemistry and psychology at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Since then, I have slowly been making my way back west, completing my medical school training at the University of Texas in San Antonio and pediatrics residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. I have wanted to be a physician since my early years when I took extracurricular science classes to help me understand the world we live in, and a pediatrician since my teenage years when I was lucky enough to volunteer at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. I am so pleased to be part of Kaiser Permanente Northwest, serving the community that helped shape me into the pediatrician and person I am today.
About my practice
As a primary care pediatrician, I focus on building relationships with my patients and their families to help provide compassionate, longitudinal care. I am fascinated by the curiosity, resilience, and just plain fun of children at all stages of growth and development; I love meeting a newborn baby for the first time, helping a teenager transition to adult care, and everything in between. I believe that the goal of pediatricians is to help children achieve the happiest and healthiest lives possible, and this can be best achieved by partnering with patients and families together at every clinic visit. I also spend time working as a hospitalist for inpatient pediatric patients at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. I strive to partner with my patients and their families to provide empathetic, family-centered care during extremely stressful experiences, when they arise. I am passionate about medical education and am privileged to teach the next generation of physicians as medical students and resident doctors learning about the special field of pediatrics.
How I thrive
I am a huge foodie and am so excited to explore the restaurant scene that has taken root in Portland since I moved away. I try to balance my foodie lifestyle with regular yoga and hiking when the weather permits. I enjoy reading (mostly fiction, but a good biography occasionally as well), true crime podcasts, and diving into a good movie from time to time. I was raised on Bollywood movies — I was even in a Bollywood-fusion a cappella group in college! I also love spending an hour or two on the piano, playing pop, Disney, classical, and everything in between. I love dogs, having grown up with golden retrievers, and I am excited to grow my canine family!

Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans’ contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of members’ KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Referrals to affiliated community physicians/providers in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community physicians/providers are not part of the NWPMG (Northwest Permanente Medical Group). They are physicians/providers credentialed by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest and/or who have a contract with the NWPMG.
If your NWPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from an NWPMG physician, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community physician/provider. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community physician/provider.
Referrals to affiliated community dentists in Oregon and Washington
Affiliated community dentists are not part of PDA (Permanente Dental Associates). They are dentists credentialed by PDA for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest, and they have a contract with PDA.
If your PDA dentist decides that you require covered services not available internally from a PDA dentist, he or she may refer you to an affiliated community dentist. You must have a written, authorized referral from Kaiser Permanente in order to receive a covered service from an affiliated community dentist.
