Where I practice
Originally from Southern California, I completed my undergraduate training at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania before returning to the West Coast for my medical training. I was drawn to Oregon by the lush landscape and active culture, but the excellent food, beer, and wine are also great perks! Medicine was my calling from a young age. I actually still have the toy doctor bag my parents got me when I was 2! The science and practice of medicine has always fascinated me, but it was only through my clinical training that I discovered the best part of family medicine is in fact the relationships you build with patients and their families.
About my practice
I was drawn to family medicine by the ability to take care of families and build relationships across generations. I truly value the honor of being able to walk through life’s milestones, both challenging and triumphant, with you and your family. I have a particular passion for women’s health. This led me to complete a special focus in women’s health and prenatal care during my residency training. So, in addition to addressing all of your general medical concerns, I do family planning, prenatal care, contraceptive placement, and minor surgical procedures. Whether you are an expecting mother, a family of 4, working to control your diabetes, or having difficulty with your blood pressure, I look forward to partnering with you on your health. Tengo muchas ganas de cuidar de usted y su familia.
How I thrive
It would be unfair of me to partner with my patients regarding the importance of wellness without embracing the practice myself! So, you can find me at my local farmers market, enjoying a hike in the beautiful Gorge with my husband and puppies (Malt and Barley), or traveling the wonderful state of Oregon! When I’m not out and about, I love board games or sitting down with a warm chocolate chip cookie and watching reruns of Friends. Whatever you do to thrive, I’m sure we’ll have something in common to talk about! I look forward to meeting you.
