We’re exploring how to screen for cancer most effectively and consistently across different settings, so all communities can receive the greatest benefit. Funded by the National Cancer Institute, this project brings multiple health systems together to address the preventive care disparities that contribute to poorer cancer outcomes among certain populations. Together, we’ll figure out how all people can get effective, consistent cancer screenings, regardless of who they are, where they live, or their income level.

We use inherited risk calculators to identify members who are more likely to develop certain cancers. Then we create individualized plans for genetic counseling and/or testing and provide ongoing support to help prevent these conditions altogether — or help catch them before they become life-threatening.
