A UNAC/UHCP labor strike is underway at Kaiser Permanente

The United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals (UNAC/UHCP) is conducting an open-ended strike involving 240 employees at our Hawaii facilities.

Our hospital and all our medical facilities remain open, and you can rely on us for the high-quality care you deserve. We’ve put strong plans in place to ensure your care continues without interruption.

Our emergency department, urgent care, and clinics remain open

  • Our Emergency Department at Moanalua Medical Center and Urgent Care at Honolulu Medical Office, West Oahu Medical Office at Kapolei, and Maui Lani Medical Office will remain open during the strike.
  • All our clinics will remain open during the strike.

Appointments during a strike

If you have an appointment scheduled during the strike, please don't cancel or reschedule. We’re contacting members in advance if their appointment or services need to be rescheduled.

Your care and well-being remain central to everything we do. Thank you for your understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
