Managing anxiety can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone. You have 24/7 access to care, resources, and support from your Kaiser Permanente care team.

Mental health services

If you need mental health or addiction services, you can connect to resources without a referral. 

Wellness Coaching by Phone

Work one-on-one with a wellness coach to set health goals tailored just for you.

Health classes and support groups

Join one of our group support programs or health education classes.6

Understanding what causes your anxiety can help you learn to control those triggers and how they affect you. Learn to take your “anxiety pulse.” 

Getting help with anxiety

Your personal doctor is your advocate. If you’re struggling, they can connect you to the appropriate resources. Contact your care team 24/7 and they’ll get back to you within 2 business days. Or visit kp.org/mentalhealthservices for 24/7 support and other mental health resources.

1The apps and services described above are not covered under your health plan benefits, are not a Medicare-covered benefit, and are not subject to the terms set forth in your Evidence of Coverage or other plan documents. The apps and services may be discontinued at any time.
2The apps and services are neither offered nor guaranteed under contract with the FEHB Program, but are made available to enrollees and family members who become members of Kaiser Permanente.
3Calm and myStrength can be used by members 13 and over. The Headspace Care app and services are not available to any members under 18 years old.
4Some individuals who receive health care services from Kaiser Permanente through state Medicaid programs are not eligible for the Headspace Care app and services. The Headspace Care app and services are not available to anyone enrolled in a Fee-for-Service Medicaid program.
5Eligible Kaiser Permanente members can text with a coach using the Headspace Care app for 90 days per year. After the 90 days, members can continue to access the other services available on the Headspace Care app for the remainder of the year at no cost.
Calm, Headspace Care, and myStrength are not available to Kaiser Permanente Dental-only members. 
6Classes vary by location. Some members may have to pay a fee for certain classes.
