Kaiser Permanente medical center practitioner
My gender: Male
Yes, I’m accepting new patients. Referral may be required.
I was born in Korea, and I moved to Oklahoma for high school. Since then, I have lived in California and Boston. I spent almost two decades in Boston honing my craft, but moved to Atlanta in search of southern hospitality and milder weather. My pursuit of medicine is to help others in their time of need.
I completed my sports medicine orthopedic surgery fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. I specialize in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, hip and knee. I also specialize in complex shoulder pathologies, including revision shoulder surgeries, shoulder fractures and shoulder replacements. I was a member of a team of physicians for local high school and college athletes, as well as the New England Revolution professional soccer team. I moved to Atlanta and joined Kaiser Permanente to practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine.
My passion is to spend time with my wife and two healthy boys. I enjoy playing and watching all kinds of sports.
