Welcome to my Web page. Here you can read a little bit about my practice and me. I feel very fortunate to work among terrific colleagues and members at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to meeting you as well.
I was born in Atlanta, grew up in Toronto, and then moved back to the United States. I went to Cornell University in upstate New York for my undergraduate studies, before going to medical school at Tufts University in Boston. Sick of cold winters, I moved back to sunny Southern California, where I have a lovely wife and three sons. I trained at UCLA, where I also stayed an extra year as chief resident. I’ve been fortunate to be working at Kaiser Permanente for over 10 years now.
I feel very privileged to be able to help people—especially kids—for a living. My basic philosophy regarding children is simply to do what is best for them. I aim to treat your kids the same way I would treat mine. My goal is to keep children healthy by encouraging healthy habits—eat well, sleep well, study hard, and, of course, play hard but safely.
When I’m not working, I like to play golf and spend time with family. I love participating in and watching just about any sport.
