Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I hope this information will give you helpful insight into me and my practice.
I was born in Pittsburgh, PA but was raised in San Jose, CA. I earned my undergraduate degree from UC Davis and completed my medical education at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. I was happy to come back to Southern California, where I was trained in internal medicine and gastroenterology at UC Irvine Medical Center. I am excited to be part of the Kaiser Permanente family
As a member of the Kaiser Permanente Gastroenterology Department in Anaheim and Irvine, I specialize in disorders of the digestive system including indigestion, abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and liver and colon disorders. My field of interest includes celiac disease, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis. I am certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the fields of both internal medicine and gastroenterology. As your physician, I will always be open and honest, and I believe that good communication with my patients is the best way to reach your goals.
I enjoy the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of work-life balance. I am an avid sports fan and enjoy watching baseball and hockey. I also enjoy the outdoors, but most of my time is spent with my lovely wife, daughter, and twin boys as we explore Southern California.
