Where I practice
I'm glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself before I have the privilege of taking care of you. As your anesthesiologist, I feel it's very important for you to be comfortable with me.
I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Boulder (go Buffs!), earning two Bachelors of Science degrees—the first in biochemistry, and the second in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. I earned my medical degree at USC School of Medicine. My internship was at the VA Hospital in West Los Angeles, and I completed my residency at UCLA. I'm married and have four children. The priorities in my life are my faith, my wife, and my family.
About my practice
I’ve been practicing anesthesia for more than 10 years. My practice provides anesthesia for many different specialties and procedures, including all types of surgeries, as well as labor and delivery. One of the things that appeals to me about working in Orange County is the diversity of our members in terms of culture, language, and religion. I welcome all members with a loving, caring, open-armed attitude.
How I thrive
During my residency at UCLA, I fell in love with Southern California. I currently live in Huntington Beach, and exercise regularly on the beach. My passions are outdoor sports like surfing, kitesurfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, biking, rollerblading, and beach volleyball. I love traveling to exotic locations to chase larger waves and stronger winds. My ultimate, dream vacation would be to go on a “surfari” in the Maldives Islands. In my downtime—when I’m not at the office or the beach—I enjoy reading and studying. I'm currently learning to speak Vietnamese.
