Welcome to my Web page. I'm honored to share a little bit of myself with you.
Born in Toronto, Canada, I spent the majority of my formative years in Sacramento, California. I attended college at Stanford University, and medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago. I completed my urology residency and chief residency at the University of Southern California, and a fellowship in robotic-laparoscopic surgery at Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
It is an amazing privilege to be a physician and surgeon. With this privilege comes responsibility. I am a strong believer in rigorous preparation and meticulous attention to detail in the operating room. I have a particular interest and expertise in urologic oncology - cancers of the kidney, testes, bladder, and prostate. I have published research focused on prostate cancer. I have additional formal training in the robotic-assisted laparoscopic, minimally invasive approaches to curing urologic malignancies. I would be delighted to offer my advice regarding these and other urologic matters.
Balance is always important. I am blessed to have an amazing family. My wife and kids provide joy and perspective. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also take pleasure in travel, tennis, and running around after the kids.
