Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I am a native of China. I originally came to the U.S. to attend graduate school at Harvard University. After obtaining my graduate degree, I decided to pursue a medical degree because I feel medicine provides a special opportunity to help and connect to people in a meaningful way.
About my practice
I am trained in both internal medicine and nuclear medicine, which involves using radioactive substances in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Currently, I practice nuclear medicine at Woodland Hills Medical Center. My practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of many disorders, especially heart disease and cancer. I am also actively involved in medical research, specifically brain tumor imaging. I believe combining medical research with a clinical practice gives me a unique opportunity to bring cutting-edge research to my patients' care. This gives me great satisfaction.
How I thrive
I try my best to keep a healthy and active life style. I am a mother of two girls. Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I am a runner and swimmer as well as an avid hiker. I also make it a priority to set aside time to just relax or read a good novel.
