Where I practice
Thank you for visiting my Web page. My name is Dr. Vivek Mohan, and my team and I look forward to taking part in your overall health.
My family and I lived on three continents before we finally settled in Buffalo, New York. I finished high school there and completed my degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Buffalo. While attending the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, I further developed my interest in orthopaedics. I completed my residency in Manhattan at Lenox Hill Hospital and subsequently completed a fellowship in joint reconstruction there as well.
About my practice
As an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery, I strive to provide the surgical care you are seeking. I work closely with your primary care physician to provide overall arthritic care to you. My specialty is hip and knee reconstructive surgery. I focus on primary replacements as well as on revision procedures. My job here at Kaiser Permanente is made easier by the hard work and diligence of my colleagues. Six of us run our office together. If you have any comments or concerns, please bring them to me or any other member of our diligent team. I am looking forward to working with you to care for your health.
How I thrive
Taking care of myself is a full-time job in itself. I tend to spend my time in activities that allow me to enjoy the great weather here in Southern California. I’m still trying to like yoga, but I lack the flexibility! I hope I achieve that soon. Overall, living a relaxed life with my adorable wife and working with a group of great doctors and other coworkers affords me the opportunity to personally become the best I can be.
