Hello, and welcome to my practice. I’m a pulmonary and critical care specialist for Kaiser Permanente in Orange County.
I’m married, and my wife and I have started a family. I received my bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine and my medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. I completed my internship and residency training in internal medicine at the UCLA-West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. I also completed additional subspecialty fellowship training in the fields of pulmonology, critical care, and sleep disorders at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2005. I felt this was the best practice setting for me because of the camaraderie and care philosophy here.
My areas of clinical interest and expertise involve the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary cancer, mechanical ventilation management, and obstructive sleep apnea. My emphasis is always on patient care. I believe in an efficient and well-run practice. I strive to incorporate the latest technology and medical advances in the care I provide.
I believe it’s important for a physician to have a well-balanced life. To excel in my practice, I try to live well outside of work. My free time is primarily dedicated to my family. I also enjoy riding my bike along the beach.
