Where I practice
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my Web page. It is important that patients know their physician on a personal and credentialed level, as delivery of medical care is a privilege with trust and partnership, backed by science and humanity.
I was an engineering student who aspired to become a physician after attending conferences on medical apparatus invention. I wanted to be able to deliver the afflicted individual from ailments using medical technology. Hence, my educational journey headed toward medicine after I earned my bachelor of science. I did all my medical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, starting with internal medicine, with fellowships in geriatric medicine, hematology, and oncology. In 2008 I was fortunate to join the Kaiser Permanente team, and since then have settled well into a thriving practice.
About my practice
I practice hematology and oncology in Orange County and have the opportunity to learn every day from patients as they entrust their care to me. I also have a great support system with my staff and colleagues.
How I thrive
I try to balance my life, keeping home life as my major priority. I enjoy family time together, whether I am cooking, baking, making a mess, or cleaning our house with my husband and young children. These activities keep me grounded and grateful for the simple things that can give great joy in life.
