Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am grateful for this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my practice at Kaiser Permanente.
I was born in the Midwest, but grew up in Southern California and knew from an early age that I wished to pursue a career in medicine. After completing my undergraduate studies at Stanford, I returned to Southern California to attend medical school at UC Irvine, and then completed my internal medicine training at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose.
About my practice
My training led me to a career in general internal medicine, and I joined Kaiser Permanente in Orange County soon after completing my residency. I enjoy a fulfilling career as an internist, working with a wonderful and talented group of colleagues, whom I trust implicitly. As a hospitalist with Kaiser Permanente, I evaluate and admit adult patients to the hospital, oversee their management and coordinate their care with various subspecialists, and perform outpatient medical evaluations on members awaiting surgery.
How I thrive
The concept of thrive captures the essence of medicine. Health is so much more than merely treating illness. It is also about seeking balance, practicing thoughtful medicine, and promoting good health. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and young sons. I am also an avid fan of golf, classical music, and Sherlock Holmes.
