Where I practice
Hello. I am pleased to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you through my Web page. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2010 and am very excited to be a part of this organization.
I was born in Connecticut and lived in Massachusetts and New Hampshire during my school years. I went to college at Colgate University and medical school at Dartmouth College. I did my Ob/Gyn residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and then worked for a year in private practice on the Upper West Side.
About my practice
I like to keep my practice diverse, which is what I love about obstetrics and gynecology. I focus on specific medical problems as well as preventive health issues that affect my patients' quality of life. I encourage teens and adolescents to see me for what might be their first visit to a gynecologist. I try to help all my patients, younger and older, take an active role in their health decisions. In addition to general Ob/Gyn, I also perform colposcopy, office hysteroscopy, inpatient obstetrics, and major and minor gynecologic surgical procedures. I encourage members of the LGBTI community to see me for obstetrical or gynecologic care.
How I thrive
I love my job and I also love life outside of work. I have three children who keep me very busy at home. I love sports and log many miles running on the roads and trails in my community. I help coach my kids' soccer and lacrosse teams when I can make time.
