Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I’m happy to have this opportunity to share a little bit about myself. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better.
I grew up in Orange County and have lived here most of my life. I finished my undergraduate studies at Stanford University, where I focused on human biology. I also studied briefly at Oxford University in England, to learn about the United Kingdom's nationalized health care system—which was a great experience. It had long been my dream to work in the health care field. After my university studies, I attended medical school at UC Irvine, where I completed my medical training.
About my practice
I decided to focus my career on internal medicine and nephrology because I was intrigued by the complexity of renal disease and the multifaceted aspects of caring for renal patients. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008. It has been a very rewarding experience. I encourage open communication with my members and—with the help of our excellent team—we physicians try to be as available to members as possible. I’ve met many fascinating and wonderful people so far.
How I thrive
I believe that balance is the secret to living well. I believe in finding time for family, exercise, fun, and travel. We enjoy our time learning and growing with our toddler, and we recently welcomed the newest edition to our family! We miss our sleep, but we love it so far!
