Where I practice
I’m glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my colleagues and patients. I look forward to working with you to care for your orthopedic needs.
I grew up in a suburb outside of Washington, D.C., and went to college in Baltimore. After completing my training in Chicago, I moved to Los Angeles to join Kaiser Permanente. My wife works at USC and we have two young sons.
About my practice
A career in medicine is a very special opportunity to connect with and help people in a meaningful way. Being an orthopedic surgeon allows me to assist patients recovering from injuries and help improve their quality of life. I treat a broad spectrum of orthopedic problems, from sports-related injuries to degenerative diseases (such as arthritis) to traumatic fractures. I feel honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I am an avid runner, and I have participated in the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Triathlon and the Pasadena Marathon. I have competed in several other marathons in the past and currently run with Track Club Los Angeles. I also make it a priority to set aside time to relax, play with my sons, or read a good novel.
