Welcome to my Web page! Here you'll learn a little about myself and my practice.
I am a board-certified pathologist. I completed my anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Columbia University, St Luke- Roosevelt Beth Israel Hospital. I studied dermatopathology with Dr. Bernard Ackerman at the Ackerman Academy in New York. After my residency, I finished my fellowship in surgical pathology at the UCLA. In addition to being a member of the Pathologists Society, I am also a member of the American Society of Dermatopathology Beside pathology, I am interested in computer programming and information systems. My work and contributions to advancing pathology through computer technologies was honored by the College of American Pathologists with the 2001 Informatics Award.
Contrary to popular opinion, not all pathologists practice in the area of forensic medicine. My special areas of interest include tumor pathology and dermatopathology. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2003 because I believe in an organization that is focused on the well being of the patients and physicians. I enjoy working closely with my colleagues and patients.
When not at the hospital, I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling, playing golf, and cooking.
