Welcome, and thanks for visiting my Web page. I hope you find the information here useful.
I have spent most of my life in California. I graduated from UCLA in 1987 and went to UC San Diego for medical school. I finished both my anesthesiology residency and pain management fellowship at UCLA Medical Center. Even though I have lived in many places, Bakersfield is where I chose to settle down and raise a family. I enjoy being in a community where people are friendly and the town is not too big or small.
After I finished my pain management fellowship, I started a private practice in pain management in Bakersfield. Then in 2006, I joined Kaiser Permanente. I enjoy working with other Kaiser Permanente physicians to improve the well being of our members. I perform interventional pain management techniques such as nerve blocks and spinal injections. I also manage pain with various medications. My goals for my members are to alleviate their pain and improve their level of functions.
I strongly believe that exercise is an important part of one's well-being. I also believe that spending time with family and friends will help reduce stress.
