Shahriar Bobby Davari, MD
I speak: English, Spanish
My gender: Male
Where I practice
Welcome to my practice! I would be proud to have you as a member, and I look forward to working with you to help you achieve good health.
I was raised in Northern California, and trained at UC Davis School of Medicine. I decided to do my residency training with Kaiser Permanente because of their fine reputation. In Northern California, I spent most of my youth skiing and hiking in the Sierra Mountains, until I moved here and fell in love with the beach. Now I spend most of my free time surfing and playing beach volleyball. I recently earned my A-rating through the California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA), and I love to travel in search of good waves and fresh powder.
About my practice
I feel that medicine is not just my job, but also my calling, and I love taking care of my member. I also love to teach—I’m currently on the clinical faculty of the residency program for physicians-in-training. I’m a member of the California Academy of Family Physicians, and was named the 2013 family medicine educator of the year. I’m involved in physician leadership and quality improvement on the local and regional level. I’m a firm believer in practicing medicine based on current evidence and research, and I enjoy keeping up with the latest medical literature.
How I thrive
I‘m also a health nut! I almost never eat fast food and, when I’m not working, I'm either in the gym, on the slopes, in the ocean, or on the beach.
