Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page.
I finished medical school in Iran and practiced as a general practitioner for 3 years. I moved to the United States in 2003 and after completion of the United States board exams, I focused on clinical research (anesthesia and critical care) for a year. Then I finished my internship at SUNY Upstate School of Medicine in New York, and moved on to complete my neurology training at Ohio State University School of Medicine. I pursued my interest in neurophysiology as my first subspecialty (fellowship) at OSH. I finished my second subspecialty training (fellowship) in sleep medicine at Harvard School of Medicine. I consider myself easygoing and social. I am double board certified in neurology and sleep medicine. I also have subspecialty training in neurophysiology. I am trained and highly experienced in performing and interpreting various neurodiagnostic procedures such as nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), electroencephalography (EEG), polysomnography (sleep studies), actigraphy, intraoperative monitoring, and evoked potentials.
About my practice
I am not hesitant to talk to my colleagues and get their assistance and expertise for patient care. I work closely with the staff in the clinic and at the hospital to ensure effective communication and efficient care.
How I thrive
I enjoy good food, soft music, and friends' companionship.
