Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself and discuss my work as a physician leader at Kaiser Permanente.
There is nothing else I’ve ever wanted to do. I chose gynecologic oncology when I was a medical student, and have been fortunate to be able to follow my career path with success. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and did all of my early training there. Cancer care was the obvious choice for me. These are the members I find the most special and most professionally rewarding. My subspecialty training brought me to California, and the ethnic diversity of the Los Angeles area inspired me to stay for good. I’m a gynecologic oncologist, and have practiced in Southern California since 2001. During that time, I’ve worked with my practice partner to build the Kaiser Permanente gynecologic oncology service into a model of high-quality care and teaching.
About my practice
My practice focuses on members with malignancies of the female genital tract, or gynecologic members with unusually complicated nonmalignant diagnoses. I lead a large team of physicians-in-training dedicated to the management and well-being of women with gynecologic cancers. Our group at Los Angeles Medical Center serves several of the local hospitals and is staffed with three board certified gynecologic oncologists. Our practice seeks to treat and manage gynecologic cancers, as well as contribute to cooperative group research on these rare conditions. Our team of physicians, nurses, and support staff provide gynecologic cancer care in a supportive, friendly, and family-centered environment.
How I thrive
I love to spend time dreaming of retirement.
