Where I practice
I’m glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It’s very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this web page will help you start to get to know me.
I was raised in a small town (Swarthmore) outside of Philadelphia and am a transplant to the LA area. After receiving my medical training at top academic institutions in the country, I chose to come to Kaiser Permanente to become part of this dynamic healthcare organization. I have the opportunity to work with a group of outstanding and dedicated physicians who truly go above and beyond to provide competent and compassionate care for our members.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, not only by using medical skills and knowledge but also by listening and responding to what members need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes; it is a privilege to help members understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, get them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family. I have a special clinical interest in epilepsy disorders and completed additional fellowship training in this area. I also maintain an interest in seeing a wide variety of general neurologic diseases.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of well-being and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. We enjoy family outings to the beautiful beaches around LA. Additionally, I enjoy reading, traveling, yoga, barre, and meditation.
