About me
Welcome! I'm proud to be a member of the Orthopedics Department here at Kaiser Permanente in Orange County. We strive to provide a high level of care for our members. I hope this Web page provides some helpful information.
Biography
I grew up in Orange County, where I remember playing in the orange groves as a child. After high school, I enrolled at Long Beach State University, where I ran cross-country and track. My undergraduate degree was in physical therapy. Later in my career, I decided to apply to medical school with the intention of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. I did my residency at UC Irvine, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego.
About my practice
Most of my practice involves the treatment of shoulder and knee injuries. I have a special interest in the treatment of kneecap instability. I feel honored to work with such fine team members—physicians, physician assistants, nurses, orthopedic technicians, physical therapists, and operating room staff.
How I thrive
To stay fit and reduce stress, I either go for a run or to the gym. I also like to unwind with a book or music. For my own, personal health, I like to eat a mostly vegetarian diet.
