Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page! After medical school and training, I was in private practice for eight years in Orange County. I then came to Kaiser Permanente in July of 2016 for the stability it provides, and because I believe in the Kaiser Permanente vision and philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit.
I grew up in Silicon Valley and went to college on the East Coast. After that,, I went to St. Louis, MO for medical school. I then served in the United States Air Force as a flight surgeon for several years, taking care of a U-2 and then an F-16 squadron. It was a wonderful experience to see the world while honorably serving my country. When I was stationed in Korea, I met my beautiful future wife. Together we now have two wonderful children. We often go camping.
About my practice
I not only practice general radiology but also have subspecialty training in women's imaging, including breast imaging and ultrasound. I believe a team approach and constant improvement are essential to ensure safety and the best patient care.
How I thrive
To stay energized, I do light exercises, mainly stretches and calisthenics, every day. In addition, I like to go to the gym and pool when I have time. I also try to include more probiotic/biotic foods and avoid more processed foods, such as sugar, in my diet.
