Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I look forward to meeting you.
I grew up on the East Coast, mostly in New England. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina, and medical school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After completing medical school, I served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Navy for six years. In the Navy, I got to travel all over the world, from the Middle East to Japan, providing medical care for the Navy's aviators and air crew. I also got to log flight time in various aircraft, from F-18s to EA-6Bs. Upon completing my service, I came to Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills for my residency training and then went on to join the Family Medicine Department here full time in 2012. I also currently serve as the Assistant Program Director of our medical center's Family Medicine Residency.
About my practice
I believe in delivering kind and thoughtful care to people. Every person is different, and , I feel it's important to provide care tailored to the individual, allowing them to play a large role in the decision-making process. I also encourage you to register at kp.org. The Web site is a great resource and allows you to look up lab results, make routine appointments, and have email communications with me.
How I thrive
I love the outdoors and I relish any excuse to get outside and enjoy our beautiful weather here in sunny California. I also love traveling and have been to many places around the world and would love to continue to explore different continents. My family is my greatest passion and my favorite activity is spending time with them.
