Where I practice
I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I received training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Stony Brook University in New York and in advanced endoscopy at University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. After practicing at the University of Minnesota for four years, we decided to move to Southern California.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes; it is a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family. I have a special interest in managing patients with pancreatic and biliary disorders. I specialize in advanced endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and EMR.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I enjoy reading, watching movies and travelling with my family.
