Welcome to my Web page. Allow me to introduce myself and tell you a little about my practice. Kaiser Permanente is an enjoyable place to work, because of my coworkers and patients. I feel our integrated approach in using technology, data, and outcome analysis is the model for healthcare in these times of change. I look forward to helping you care for your health.
I was born and raised in Southern California. My grandfather, a surgeon during World War II in India, inspired me to become a physician. I really enjoy my practice and my patients. I am happily married and have two teenage sons. My family and I enjoy traveling.
I subspecialize in total joint replacement of the hip and knee. This is the bulk of my practice, except for trauma cases. I perform joint replacement based on up-to-date research and methods that have been demonstrated to be sound. This entails performing procedures that give excellent long-term results. I am fortunate to have a great team assisting me in the office and operating room. We provide customized care based on a patient's individual needs. My team is well versed in the care of total joint patients, and are an invaluable resource in optimizing your care and extending my reach. My colleagues and I are always assessing treatments and technologies to improve outcomes. We are careful to apply sound reasoning to our decisions, to be sure that we get great results.
I enjoy family outings to Los Angeles Angels games. My wife, two sons, and I enjoy summer trips to Hawaii and quiet family time at home. We also like to take long walks with our dog.
