Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My name is Peter Youssef. I joined Kaiser Permanente in March of 2013. I look forward to meeting you and working my hardest to make sure I provide the best service possible for your eye care needs.
I was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago. I attended Northwestern University for my undergraduate education, and then went to Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago for medical school. After medical school, I ventured to the Pacific Northwest and completed my residency in ophthalmology at the University of Washington in Seattle. I then moved to Southern California to USC/Children's’ Hospital Los Angeles for one year of additional training in ocular oncology. I returned to the Midwest for my subspecialty training at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where I completed my medical and surgical retina fellowship. I practiced for two and a half years at the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin in north central Wisconsin before starting at Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
I run a busy practice evaluating and treating patients with both medical and surgical vitreoretinal diseases. My philosophy is to work my hardest to ensure the best possible outcome for my patients that I am able to provide. I work closely with the other two vitreoretinal surgeons at Kaiser Permanente in Orange County.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending time with my wife and two daughters. I am involved with my church community in Tustin, and I enjoy playing tennis.
